Randy S. Metz, Esq.

Randy Scott Metz is a trial lawyer who has concentrated his practice on complex civil litigation matters in both state and federal courts.  Randy has litigated numerous civil trials, conducted many arbitrations, and mediations.  He has also argued before the Pennsylvania Superior Court – Pennsylvania’s appellate division.   Randy has also served as an arbitrator for the C.C.P. Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania - Philadelphia’s trial court division.

Over the course of his career, Randy has represented and advised numerous individual and corporate clients in wide range of civil litigation matters including but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, premises liability, auto negligence, construction defect cases, products liability, commercial litigation and transactions, breach of contract, indemnification, employment law, governmental immunity, and real estate transactions.

Randy recently delivered the closing argument  to a jury of twelve in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia en route to successfully obtaining a jury defense verdict in a premises liability case on behalf of one the nation’s largest chain of retail drug stores. The case arose from an alleged assault and battery claim against the store manager and the store's employees, with vicarious liability alleged against the drug store chain itself.

  • When not practicing law, Randy enjoys playing chess, cycling, snowboarding, and rooting for Butler University's basketball teams. Randy has also contributed his time to the LL.M. in Trial Advocacy program at Temple Law School and has been recognized as a member of the Russell H. Conwell Society for the 2014-15 academic year.
